Informed at pickup would get electric car. Must return car re-charged...OR PAY A $35 FEE TO DROP CAR AS-IS! Takes 2 HRS to self-recharge, 1 day rental, dropping at MCO. IMPOSSIBLE TO DO THIS. Must find recharge station and then WAIT 2 HOURS TO CHARGE THE CAR? Asked for gas vehicle, and they said one is available, but THERE'S AN UPCHARGE FOR THAT TOO!!!! At this point, I have to go to airport. I finally relented BECAUSE I HAD NO OTHER OPTION - TOOK 20 MINUTES TO "DISINFECT" THE CAR. Drove to airport, and replaced gas. I have before and after photos to prove this. THEN THEY CHANGE ME $21 FOR A FUEL CHARGE!!!!!!!!!! Staff was rude, flippant and condescending. They could have waived ONE of the "Upcharge fees". NEVER AGAIN. I HAVE BEEN BOOKING WITH KAYAK FOR YEARS. Kayak should not play a part in this kind of BAD BUSINESS.

Car had no spare tire, tire blew up were on hold on 4 different phones at same time, nobody answer, stranded in the middle of nowhere. After 5 hours standed had to take a lift from 429 to Gainesville (1hr 45 min) $179.00. Didn't get my deposit back. Spoke to a Manager (he even spelled his name for me) when my husband and son went to give the keys back, nobody knew the Manager. No papaerwork at all, blaming COVID-19 for this.

I went to pick up my car and both cards got declined. I called the bank and they had put a hold because it was in Florida and I'm in Texas. I forgot to tell them I was traveling. They lifted the hold and then Alamo tells me they can't rent me a car because they have a two decline rule. Another person on the same flight had a rental at noon but our flight got in at 5:30..(She reserved the car before she made her flight reservation). They guy tells her we only hold cars for an hour so we don't have a car for you. I said, sure you do. Since I can't have my car you can give her mine. He said that's not how it works. We ended up having to Uber to Ocala. I called Alamo corporate and was told I would get a call back. Been a week. Crickets.....Don't use Alamo.
