When I arrived the Fox did not have the car I requested so they gave me a much larger car. I also got charged for many more things and the overall cost was much for higher than I was expecting or signed up for in the booking time. Also the sales associate was most likely high during pick up and continuously kept trying to sell me on different items and was going in circles, but also had very little knowledge about the rental and the area in which he works. I will personally never be using FOX again because I felt I was cheated out of the booking price and the experience was overall very poor.

Custumer service in location pick up really need to be change in total, people there look like they don’t know what custumer service is, plus the 45mi to an hour that you have to wait for the pickup, my first time using this company and never I’ll rent a car again from them.

Definitely Custumer service is the worst they have.

The volume control on the stereo did not work the car was barely 3000 miles on it. Also, the trans shift in drive position came into your hand which means the lever came loose out. This is a serious safety hazard that Hertz should’ve checked.

The staff at the office on Broadway were helpful and courteous. The customer support folks on the phone were unhelpful and, sadly, a terrible experience. My partner was crying in frustration. That bad. The car was clean on the outside, but bug spattered on the outside. Trying to change the credit card used was impossible over the phone.

The way you charge for extras is a poor experience. The pack of flexibility around rental changes is difficult. I rent cars on the regular for work and hertz is always my last choice. It’s always a poor experience. I swore again after this last rental that I’d never do hertz again.

Intended to book for Oakland Airport. Somehow got booked for an off airport location 20 miles away and closing 1 hr after my arrival on a Saturday. BL: after a $25 Uber, I found myself stranded in Oakland and unable to book a reservation with Budget (no vehicles available at the airport location). Very frustrating experience.

Alamo didn’t have the car I booked when we flew into Oakland airport at 8:30pm. We had booked a full sized suv 4 months prior and they had sold out . They advised us to come back the next day so we drive 2 hours to our already confirmed hotel and then the next morning 2 hours back to alamo only to be told that they didn’t have a full sized suv available because they were sold out. There were about 25 full sized SUV’s on their lot when they told us this but they said they were reserved for other customers who had booked full sized. Blew my mind. We turned in our car and went to Avis where they gave us a 4 runner for a fraction of what our full sized suv through Alamo had cost.
